The Association for Racial Persecutees of Slovakia submitted a complaint to government leaders that the Council of Jewish Communities in Bohemia and Moravia has not accepted its invitation to make a joint representation to the Czechoslovak Government for the establishment of a Jewish rehabilitation fund.
The Association received no reply to a communication which outlined proposals to be made to the government that monies be diverted from the Currency Liquidation Fund for assistance to Jewish institutions for religious and social purposes. The Association said that the Currency Liquidation Fund has obtained a number of holdings and assets seized by the Nazis from Jewish communities and that the Fund’s officials had promised aid to the Jews from its resources.
