The Reichsvertretung der Deutschen Juden, the all Jewish German Representative Body, today sent a protest to Chancellor Adolf Hitler against the spread of libels against the Jews by Der Stuermer. Julius Streicher’s anti-Semitic weekly, which appeared yesterday with a special edition accusing the Jews of ritual murders.
According to the Jewish press here, the Reichsvertretung telegraphed to the Chancellor: “Der Stuermer is spreading a special edition in which Judaism is charged with ritual murder in monstrous insults and horrible illustrations.
“Before God and man, we raise our voice solemnly protesting against this unparalleled defamation of our faith.”
