The Jewish Book Council of America paid tribute last night to Maurice Jacobs, of Philadelphia, for his services to Jewish literature in this country at the group’s annual meeting. A testimonial was presented to Jacobs, executive vice-president of the Jewish Publication Society, and a founder of the Council, which is sponsored by the National Welfare Board. Dr. Solomon Grayzel was reelected president of the Council.
