The Jewish Book Council of America today published its 1943-44 annual in English, Hebrew and Yiddish, containing articles in all three languages and giving biographical material on outstanding Jewish authors.
The volume also contains reviews and appraisals of the outstanding books of the year published in the three languages in the United States. The annual was edited by Dr. Solomon Grayzel, editor of the Jewish publication Society of America. Co-editors of the English section are Louis Rittenberg and Harry Schneiderman. The Hebrew section was edited by Dr. Pinkhos Churgin and Menahem Ribalow. Moses Starkman was editor of the Yiddish section.
