The National Jewish Welfare Board announced here today that Jewish Book Month, an annual evens of the Jewish Book Council, will be held this year from November 26 to December 26. Last year, over 1,800 Jewish groups participated in the celebration which is dedicated to promoting an interest in Jewish books.
The J.W.B. also announced that its Jewish Center Lecture Bureau booked 1,700 programs for Jewish Community Centers and Jewish educational organizations during the 1947-48 season.
