The Jewish Book Union, which was formed here recently, announced that beginning in December, it will publish regularly one book of Jewish interest every two months.
The first books to be issued by the Union will be Franz Kafka’s “Castle” and “Israel and the Nations” by Dr. Ernst Cohen-Weiner.
The committee of the Book Union includes Rabbi Dr. Leo Baeck, president of the All-German Jewish Representative Body; Director Heinrich Stahl, president of the Berlin Jewish Community; Heinrich Stern, president of the Federation of Liberal Jews in Germany; Professor Ismar Elbogen; and Dr. Alfred Klee, Berlin Zionist leader and vice-president of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Prussia.
