A delegation of representatives of the Jewish Central Committee, the Joint Distribution Committee and the ORT has left for Kielce to assist the victims of last Thursday’s pogrom, it was announced here.

The National Council in a resolution has demanded swift punishment of the ringleaders. The workers at a factory in Ludwikowka have staged a demonstration protesting the riots. When the news of the pogrom reached Warsaw a group of young Jews, mostly Polish army veterans, left for Kielce to aid the beleaguered Jews.
A group of Zionist leaders, including Adolph Berman, deputy in the Polish National Council, called on Premier Eduard Osubka-Morawski and submitted the text of a resolution adopted at a meeting of the Jewish Central Committee protesting the British attacks on Jews in Palestine. The Premier expressed sympathy for the Jews and said he hoped that common sense and democracy would not permit current conditions to prevail in Palestine.
