Wide interest has been called forth throughout the state for the opening here of the special exhibit of Jewish ceremonial and historical objects in the New Jersey State Museu.The exhibit,said to be the first of its kind in the country,will be continued until March 19.
The collection, loaned by the Jewish Theological seminary and Samuel S.Fleisher or Philadelphia,as well as various private collectors, features Jewish his torical and ceremonial objects,some used in synagogues as well as homes. A large part of athe display will be taken .Ark converings of various design and an old Torah are included.The exhibition section of the National Council of Jewish Women in co-operation with the state Museum art advisory committee.
