The program of the Jewish Chautanqua Society in the summer schools of the uniservities throughout the country during the forthcoming season was announced by the society.
At the University of Arkansas Rabbi Ira Sanders of Little Rock will lecture on “The Foundations of the Early History of Israel,” “The Erhics of the Old Testament” and “The Essentials of the Jewish Religion’ Dr. Jacob Singer of Chicago will lecture at the University of Colorado on “The Jewish Factor in America” and “The Talmud as Literature and Life.” At DeKalb State Teachers College Rabbi Samuel Mayerberg of Dayton, Ohio, will have as his subject “The Psalm Literature.”
Lecturers at universities throughout the country, including the universities of eighteen states, will be Rabbi Moromer J. Cohen of Philadelphia, Rabbi Samuel R. Shillman of Chattanzooga, Rabbi Solomon Foster of Chattanooga, Rabbi Joseph Fink of Buffalo, Rabbi Samuel Mayerberg of Dayton, Ohio; Rabbi S. Felix Mandelson of Chicago, Rabbi Jack Skirball of Evansville, Rabbi Sidney Tedesche of New Haven, Com; Rabbi Jacob R. Marcus of Cincimati, Rabbi Edward Israel of Baltimore, Rabbi Samuel Thurman of St. Louis, Mo, Dr. Jacob Kohn of New York, and Rabbi Bernard J. Bamberger of LaFayette Indiana.
