Jewish children in Sabbath schools, orphan asylums, and the pupils of religious classes in Greater New York will make contributions this Sunday, to a fund that is being raised throughout the United States by Jewish Sabbath school children for the benefit of the Jewish youth of Germany, Pauline Baerwald, national chairman of the Junior Division of the Joint Distribution Committee, announced.
The fund, Miss Baerwald declared, is intended as a concrete expression by the Jewish children of America of sympathy for the German Jewish children. The contributions will be included in the German Relief Fund campaign of the Joint Distribution Committee.
