The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany re-affirmed today the deadline date of September 15, 1955, for the submission of applications by organizations seeking Conference allocations for the year 1956, for activity in all countries outside Israel. Applications must be submitted in 10 copies.
The Conference pointed out that the applications should contain a detailed description of the activities for which Conference funds are requested. The applications should also include precise budgetary information, and information on other sources of income for the projects in question which may be available to the organization.
The Conference, by the terms of the agreement it concluded with the Federal Republic of Germany, can allocate funs only for those activities that contribute to the relief, rehabilitation and resettlement of Jewish victims of Nazi persecution, in accordance with the urgency of need.
