Alpha Epsilon Pi, Jewish national collegiate fraternity, concluded its 20th anniversary convention here at the Biltmore Hotel with election of 1934 officers and a stag banquet attended by several hundred delegates.
Alexander L. Grossman of New York was elected supreme master; Joseph G. Greenberg of Brooklyn, lieutenant-master; supreme board of governors — Morris Baruch of Providence, Simon Hamburger of New York city, Morris H. Brown of Brooklyn, Leon B. Traub of Philadelphia, Nathan Hyman of Pittston, Pa., Lester H. Block of Buffalo, N. Y., and Samuel H. Shapiro of Kanakee, III. Block is retiring supreme master.
The Providence Alumni Club and R. I. State chapter were joint sponsors of the convention which was the first national Jewish fraternity conference ever held in Providence.
