Jewish colonies in the Cherson region are suffering because there has been no rain since the middle of May. The food and forage supply is representing a serious problem since the same region suffered crop failure last year.

The situation in the regions of Krivoy, Rog, Nikopol and Odessa are better, states a report of the Comzet, governmental department for Jewish land settlement.
