The Jewish colonies in Ukrainia have a 5,000,000 pud crop (200,000,000 pounds) this year compared with one of 1,000,000 last year. There is a danger of insufficient workers which may delay the timely harvesting of this record crop. In order to avoid this the Central Committee of the Young Communists has appealed to the young Communists in the neighborhood of the Jewish districts to assist during the harvest.
It has also ordered that all means be taken to prevent the youth from returning to the towns and to detain them until the harvest has been completed.
