Thirty of the forty Jewish colonists from the Jewish Colonization Association’s settlements at d’Entre-Rios and Santa Fe in Argentina won awards at two recent produce and cattle exhibitions in Buenos Aires and Palacies, it was reported today by the LCA office here.
The colonists won eight first prizes, four second prizes and 18 honorable mentions. The exhibits of the Jewish farmers aroused favorable comment from the Argentina authorities, the public and the press.
