The commander of a Canadian company of infantrymen who held a ridge position in Korea which has become famous as “Little Gibraltar” against overwhelming Chinese attacks, has been identified here as Major E. L. Cohen, the only high ranking Jewish officer serving with Canadian troops on that portion of the front. Canadian newspapers have been warm in their praise of the conduct and bravery of Maj.
