As part of a general appeal to the Jewish community to avoid performances by artists and sportsmen from the Soviet Union and other countries practicing Jewish repression, The New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies has called for a boycott of the upcoming appearances of the Georgian (USSR) State Dance Company and the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra. The action is also endorsed by the Victorian Jewish Board of Deputies.
