The affiliation of the newly-formed Confederation of Brazilian Jewry, representing the second largest Jewish community in Latin-America, to the World Jewish Congress has been formalized by ratification of the Confederation’s action by its three major branches, it was announced here today. The Federations of Jews in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Porte Allegro, the three largest Brazilian cities and the principal Jewish centers in the nation, have ratified the resolution in unanimous votes, the W.J.C. announcement said.
