Extensive plans for the holding of Flower Day for the benefit of the Jewish National Fund of America, the Zionist agency for the acquisition of land in Palestine as the property of the Jewish people, have been completed, according to an announcement issued by Emanuel Neumann, president of the Fund. Jewish communities in more than 70 cities and towns in the United States have reported to the New York headquarters concerning the organization of large groups of volunteers who will participate in the flower sale which will be held throughout the country on June 8th. The proceeds of Flower Day last year amounted to $40,000, and it is expected that the income may be doubled this year.
