Police are investigating damages inflicted on a partially-completed Jewish Community Center here that included the defacement of a sign which was changed to say “Jewish Communist Center.”
Part of a wall was kicked down and a water hose was riddled with nails. Most of the members of the Center are government workers in nearby Washington, D.C. The building will be used as a combined synagogue and center. Construction work is being done by the members themselves.
