The yearly drive for San Francisco’s quota of the Jewish National Welfare Fund is on in full swing.
This year’s quota has been set at $280,000, representing San Francisco’s share of the funds required of American Jewry for the support of Jewish Educational, religious and charitable organizations, national and international in character. San Francisco was one of the first cities to combine its Jewish drives into a community chest. Lloyd W. Dinklespiel is campaign director.
