A report on the Jewish community’s position regarding the relationship between the Government of France and the privately-operated Jewish schools in this country, was presented to a special study commission today by Georges Wormser, president of the Central Jewish Consistory of France.
The study commission is surveying the entire problem of government-school relationships, which has become a major issue in French internal politics. The Jewish section of the survey, as well as other portions, is being kept secret until the commission presents its overall report to the Government.
