The praesidium of the Jewish Community of Vienna had an audience yesterday with Minister of Education, Dr. Anton Rintelen, to whom it presented a memorandum protesting against conditions at the University of Vienna.
The Jewish Community delegation charged that the government had taken measures to protect students only after a foreign power had protested. The promise of protection, further-more, was given to foreigners chiefly, the delegation pointed out.
The Minister assured the Jewish group that the authorities are taking general measures to offer protection to the students regardless whether they are foreigners or natives.
