Congregation Eman–El has offered full use of its facilities “for as long as they may be needed” to the congregation of St. Mary’s Cathedral after it was destroyed by fire.
Rabbi Alvin I. Fine and president Samuel Jacobs made the offer in a letter to Archbishop Joseph McGucken, in which they also extended “heartfelt sympathy” on the destruction of “a great religious and historical landmark of our city.”
