The World Jewish Congress today announced that individuals wishing to send food parcels to relatives in Poland and Czechoslovakia can do so through the offices of the Congress here. The parcels will be sent from Sweden.
The announcement said that an advance payment of $9.00 will be required for each parcel which will contain seven pounds of food. The contents of the parcels are pre-determined by Swedish regulations and are identical.
