A warning that grave danger exists that the Blease Bill, for the “voluntary” registration of aliens, will be enacted into the law of the land unless liberal opinion which is opposed to the bill makes manifest its objections, was issued Friday by the American, Jewish Congress to key men throughout the country.

By wire and letter sent to representatives of national and central Jewish organizations in every section of the United States, the American Jewish Congress points out that the Blease Bill for “voluntary” registration, while innocent in exterior is an entering wedge for compulsory registration and essentially a violation of the spirit of American freedom.
