The Central Council of German Jews revealed today its refusal to recognize the executive committee of the Munich Jewish community which was elected last year.
The central council charged that the elections were held under conditions which were “illegal and undemocratic.” It declared all actions and decisions of the Munich executive committee “null and void” and ordered the dissolution of the body.
In addition, the central council set up a board of arbitration to settle the dispute between itself and the Munich committee, and to pass judgment on a number of problems which have arisen between the two.
