Delegates from four hundred organizations are expected to attend the convention of the Jewish Council of Greater New York, which will be held on Sunday afternoon in the Hotel Pennsylvania.
Problems of Jewish communal organization and coordination of activities will be discussed. Bernard G. Richards, chairman, will review current Jewish questions, and Jacob L. Warkow, secretary, will report on the Council’s recent activities.
Addresses will be delivered by Carl Sherman, president of the Zionist Region of Greater New York; Dr. Joseph Tannenbaum, chairman of the executive committee of the American Jewish Congress; State Senator Lazarus Joseph, Representative Samuel Dickstein, Max Silverstein, Judge Hyman J. Reit and others.
