The National Council of Jewish Women is assisting President Hoover’s Emergency Committee for Employment, in the effort to meet the present employment problem throughout the United States, and is extending its cooperation to prevent human suffering and to alleviate the present situation. A survey of the Newark and Bayonne. N. J., communities has been completed by the department of vocational guidance and employment of the National Council of Jewish Women, according to Mrs. Francis D. Pollak, national chairman of the department.
