Jewish Democrats blasted the Bush administration for sending a delegation to a counterterrorism conference in Saudi Arabia where anti-Semitic comments were made. According to the Middle East Media Research Institute, a Saudi cleric told the conference, “The first to kill and use terrorism in the world were the Jews.”
