Deputy Dr. Joseph Fischer and Deputy Michael Landau have on behalf of the Jewish Parliamentary Club interviewed Professor Pompeiu, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, and complained to him that they are being terrorised in the Chamber by the Cuzist Deputies.

The delegation told the President that the Cuzists make it a practice to create a disturbance whenever a Jewish Deputy appears on the tribune of the Chamber without the presiding officers taking any action to keep order. Jewish Deputies were constantly being abused in the Chamber by the Cuzists, without any interference by the officers of the Chamber. Things had even gone so far that Cuzists, notably Deputy Robu, had actually begun to molest the Jewish Deputies, and to threaten to thrash them.

The Jewish Parliamentary Club demanded that the Presidium of the Chamber should protest them against such terrorism, else the members of the Jewish Parliamentary Club would find themselves compelled to take measures for their self-defence, and would call upon international public opinion to defend the right of duly elected members of Parliament to speak in the Chamber on behalf of those who had elected them, without being subjected to personal molestation.

Professor Pompeiu in his reply to the delegation said that he would ask Deputy Cuza and Deputy Robu to visit him and would warn them that they must stop molesting or threatening the Jewish Deputies.
