Following three mass demonstrations in front of Israeli legation in Bucharest by Rumanian Jews seeking visas for Israel, Bercu Feldman, a deputy in the Rumanian parliament and leader of the Jewish Democratic Committee, today attacked the demonstrations as “provocation against the Rumanian Popular Republic and the Peoples Democracy.”

In an address to other leaders of the committee, Feldman urged them “to spare no efforts to unmask Zionists,” who, he said, were supporting by their actions the “war-mongering Imperialist camp. We must enlighten the Jewish masses that only by productive work and the building-up of socialism in Rumania, can they assure them-selves of a happy future,” Feldman concluded.
