More than 500 displaced Jews in the northern Bavarian town of Regensburg today staged an orderly demonstration before the community synagogue today to protest the executions of members of the Jewish underground in Palestine. Smaller demonstrations were held in Stuttgart, Kassel and Pocking.

Although Revisionist leaders here denied direct responsibility for today’s demonstrations, they admitted that they had sent out orders to about 150 local branches in the U.S. zone, suggesting that meetings be held. The Central Committee of Liberated Jews reiterated that all such observances were “unauthorized.”
