A group of 26 tubercular Jewish DP’s together with 36 dependents today left here for permanent settlement in Sweden. Most of them are residents of Foehrenwald, the only Jewish DP camp still in existence in Germany.

This is the second transport of “hard core” displaced Jews to Sweden made possible by special agreement between the Swedish Government and the Joint Distribution Committee. The JDC meets the expenses connected with the transportation and resettlement of the refugees.
