The Jewish Dramatic Studio, the purpose of which is to study the modern Jewish stage and literature, is entering on its tenth season of activity. The three plays scheduled for production are: “The Poor Kingdom” by Leivick; “The Leftovers” by Jean Ross, and “Riverside Drive”, by Leo Kobrin. The group also plans to put on several one-act plays.
The Irene Kaufman Settlement, one of the best equipped settlement houses in the country, is now planning its fall schedule. According to Mrs. Perlow, head of the music division, the plans for the coming season include a toy symphony for children up to 7 years of age.
