An appeal to Jewish parents to enroll their children in Jewish religious schools has been issued by the Jewish Education Committee of New York, of which Justice Samuel I. Rosenman is the president. The appeal refers to the serious problem that face the Jewish people in all parts of the world and states that in the teachings of the Hebrew prophets and sages, “the child will find the fountain source of the ideals of our American democracy.”
