A decision to coordinate the Jewish education activities in Mexico with those of Argentina was adopted here today by the board of education of Nidche Israel, the organization of Ashkenazic Jews in this country.
Today’s action followed a proposal made to Nidche Israel recently by Marc Turkow, general secretary of the Latin American executive of the World Jewish Congress. Under the plan, the schools in Mexico teaching both Hebrew and Yiddish will work closely with similar institutions in Argentina.
