Ten outstanding Jewish leaders in fields of social work and education have arrived here from Israel, Morocco and Argentina for advanced study at American universities under the overseas scholarship program of the National Council of Jewish Woman, it was announced today by Mrs., Irving M. Engel, president of the organization.
The ten were nominated for the scholarships by committees composed of foremost education and welfare experts in their own countries. They will return to their homelands after a year. Meanwhile their studies will take them to universities scattered from Boston to Minneapolis.
