The sixth annual National Jewish Music Festival Month will be observed throughout the United States from February 4 to March 3, it was announced here today by Mrs. Frank Cohen, chairman of the Jewish Music Council, which is sponsored by the National Jewish Welfare Board.
Jewish community centers affiliated with the J.W.B., as well as synagogues, schools, fraternal organizations and Zionist groups, are among the more than 1,000 Jewish organizations planning the Festival programs. In addition, large numbers of symphonic, university and church orchestras and choral groups are scheduling special Jewish music events to mark the Festival.
