COMMUNICATION TO THE EDITOR

Sir:

Although I do not usually take kindly to books sent me for purchase by responsible book houses when unsolicited, I want to assure you that I thank you for having sent me a copy of the Index and to compliment you on your courage in publishing it. It was a heroic undertaking and is only additional evidence of the fine service you are giving the Jewish people through the dissemination of news through your “Daily Bulletin”. I hope that your work is receiving the appreciation it so richly deserves.

Would you let me know if it is possible to secure bound volumes of the first and second years’ issues of the “Jewish Bulletin.” If so I would ask you to send me those volumes and another copy of the Index for reference use in our congregational school library.

Wishing you many years of continuing service, I am

Sincerely,

MAX D. KLEIN,

Rabbi, Adath Jeshurun Congregation. Philadelphia, Dec, 2, 1926.
