Phi Alpha, a national Jewish college fraternity comprising twenty chapters, achieved the highest scholarship standing during 1928-29 in the Inter-fraternity Conference, which embraces 66 fraternities, according to notification received by Phi Alpha national headquarters here, from Alvin E. Duerr. Secretary of the Inter-fraternity Conference. The Conference embraces the leading non-Jewish as well as Jewish fraternities throughout the country.
