Hope that the question of mass deportations of Jews and others from cities in Rumania and Hungary will be raised at the international convention of the Red Cross now taking place in Toronto, Canada, was expressed here today at a meeting of the European executive of the Agudas Israel, by H.A. Goodman, leading member of the organization. He suggested that the Red Cross should send a delegation to these countries to investigate the situation.
The meeting also discussed the question of convoking a world conference of representative of rabbinical organizations. In this connection it was decided to consult leaders of rabbinical councils in Israel and the United States on their views with regard to holding such a conference in Israel.
