Through the courtesy of Dr. Raymond F. C. Kieb, Commissioner of Corrections of the State of New York, the Jewish Chaplains of the State prisons are making a joint appeal for a fund to enable Jewish prisoners to share in the joys of the Passover season. The week of Pesach is the only one during the year when such privilege is accorded to them.

The inmates are permitted to buy special articles of food and it is only through the generosity of donors that the Passover week assumes some semblance of a holiday for them. If you desire to contribute to a general fund to enable our Jewish prisoners to celebrate Passover, send your check to Albert M. Friedenberg, treasurer of Passover Fund, 116 Nassau Street, Room 814, New York.
