The ninth annual commencement exercises of the Jewish Institute of Religion will be held Sunday morning at Carnegie Hall, Fifty-seventh street and Seventh avenue. Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, president of the institute, will confer degrees and deliver the charge to graduating students. The invocation will be offered by Rabbi Abram V. Goodman of Congregation B’er Chayyim, Cumberland, Md., and Rabbi David Philipson of Rockdale Avenue Temple, Cincinnati, will address the graduates. Julian W. Mack, chairman of the board of trustees, will preside.
