Two visaless Jewish immigrants who were stated to have escaped from the Nicosia military hospital were taken into custody by the police in Limasol, Cyprus, according to an official announcement here last night.

This was the first intimation that the two had escaped. It is thought that others may be at large in view of a statement by the camp authorities that they have been unable to take a roll call since the visaless immigrants were diverted here from Palestine.
