The annual conference of the Jewish Labor Committee concluded here last night with the adoption of a budget for 1951 of $1,400,000. Adolph Held was re-elected chairman of the organization.

Addressing the closing session, Harry N. Rosenfield, member of the United States Displaced Persons Commission, said that the problem of Jewish displaced persons in Europe is nearly solved. He urged the United States to admit “tens of thousands” of displaced persons, emphasizing the contributions they can make to the Labor Markets, the culture and the economy of the country.
