Funeral servies were held at Temple Emanu-Eltoday for the late David M. Bressler, noted Jewish communal leader who died on Wednesday. Several hundred persons prominent in fields of Jewish endeavor attended. Rabbi samuel Goldenson of Temple Emanu-El delivered the eulogy. He spoke of the “understanding heart” of David Bressler, and stressed the fact that he had been “an influence for good” in many channels of service to his fellow man.
Former Governor Herbert H. Lehman, who was unable to attend the services, headed a list of honorary pallbearers which included: Paul Baerwald, Dr. Jacob Billikopf, David A.
