Jewish Leaders Charged with Nazi Collaboration Released in Own Custody

Dr. Abraham Asscher and Prof. Dirk Cohen, Dutch ## leaders who face trial on charges of having collaborated with the Nazis during ##ar by registering Jews for deportation by the Germans, have been released over ##eek-end in their own custody and on condition that they abstain from contacting ##sses or leaving the country. The decision to release them was reached after a ##lamentary debate in which the Minister of Justice and the public prosecutor re##nded the action.
