Jewish Leaders Complain to French Resident of Antijewish Attacks in Morocco

A report of anti-Jewish excesses in Morocco is cabled from Casa Blanca to the “Morgenzeitung.”

The dispatch relates that a Jewish delegation of Rabat, appeared before the French General Resident, submitting to him a memorandum in which anti-Jewish attacks in Uekuos are described. Several Jews were killed during the attacks, the dispatch states.

Anti-Jewish attacks also took place in Rabat, where natives attacked a Jewish funeral procession, injuring the mourners. Similar attacks also took place in the town of Magador. The General Resident promised to institute an investigation of the matter.
