Jewish Leaders from Europe and Palestine Will Submit Reports at U.J.A. National Conference

Earl G. Harrison, American member of the Inter-Governmental Committee on Refugees, whose report to President Truman on the plight of the displaced Jews of Europe focused world attention on the tragic position of the Jewish survivors of Hitlerism, will be one of the principal speakers at the extraordinary three-day national conference of the United Jewish Appeal, which will open at the Hotel Chelsea at Atlantic City on Saturday evening, Dec. 15, it was announced today.

Leaders of European and Palestinian Jewry are making a flying trip to the United States to place first-hand reports of the present world Jewish situation before the delegates and to help them determine on measures of meeting Jewish relief, rehabilitation and Palestine settlement needs in the coming year.
